A Bad Case of Stripes
In A Bad Case of Stripes Camilla is afraid that if she eats beans people will make sun of her, but when she doesn't something strange starts happening to her. This book is very fun, yet serious way to show anti peer pressure. I would use this book in a diversity lesson to show that everyone is different then, have them draw what they love on three stripes and after putting all the classes stripes together talk about how unique each person is. I can't wait to read this to my classroom someday! It could be read from kindergarten to third grade.
